Wastewater

Characterization of wastewater, as well as the conditions under which they may be discharged on rivers/lakes, or even when they must be treated before discharged adequately covered by federal and state laws.

The CONAMA Resolution 430 of 13 May 2011 states criteria in which wastewater, from any source, can be released into rivers or lakes.

On state level São Paulo has the Decree 8468 of 08/09/76. Article 18th establishes criteria where any polluting source might only be released directly or indirectly in rivers or lakes. Article 19A establish requirements that a wastewater, from any pollution source, must accomplish after treatment and before its release in rivers or lakes.

The State Council for Environmental Policy, COPAM, at Minas Gerais state published Normative Deliberation COPAM / CERH 1 May 5, 2008, which establishes criteria for wastewater discharge into water bodies. Details of maximum concentration allowed (VMP) are presented in Article 29th. This state resolution includes inorganic, organic parameters and toxicological studies (acute and chronic) as well.

TASQA meets all requirements of all these laws. More than that rest on the fact that all of them are ISO/IEC 17025 accredited. Check it out!
